Thanksgiving Potluck...come stuff yourself :)

Most of you have heard about this one, but it is exciting!

We'll be hosting a Thanksgiving potluck on Friday, November 16.  The event wil be hosted at The Eclipse, an apartment building in Midtown where a few of our classmates live. The address is 250 Pharr Rd. NE.  We're planning to kick things off at around 7:30, and we would love to make this a family event. We'll be providing the meat, but it would be great if each family could bring one side dish and any adult beverages you would like. To be sure we get a balanced meal, we're asking families with names beginning in A-P to bring a savory side and P-Z a dessert. Just let us know the number in your party and what you'll be bringing by using the contact link on the blog or by emailing Murad, Elizabeth, Dana, or Caroline.

... the famous opening line to one of my favorite shows, Iron Chef, and a line we're likely to hear at the beginning of this week's gathering. 

We're heading to the Howell Mill Food Park this Friday, October 12, for an Iron Chef battle food-truck style!  More info and a link to purchase tickets can be found here: http://atlantafoodtruckpark.com/events/

Note that you are not required to purchase a ticket to eat at the park. Tickets need only be purchased if you would like to attend the show.

We'll meet at the park at 7pm. It's a BYOB park, and largely cash-only, so plan accordingly.

Champagne and Curry Sept. 22

There's an invitation-only supper club in Atlanta called Curry Cravings.  Have you heard of it?  Have you been dying to go?  Yes and yes?  Great.

They are having an end-of-summer champagne celebration on  Sept. 22.  We can get 15% off the price of $60 per person (read: $51 per person with the discount) if we have 6 people sign up together.
